About our site

Founded in 2003, Direct Chandlery was set up to make commercial and leisure books, equipment and software easily available at affordable prices.

By shipping some items directly from our suppliers to our customers we have been able to keep costs down and therefore offer high quality products at competitive prices.

Our staff has varied backgrounds in the marine area and includes two Master Mariners, a Marine Surveyor, a Yacht Master and a Powerboat/Sailing Instructor. 

We are very keen to stay one step ahead of the competition and if there is anything that you think we should be doing, or something that you think we are doing badly then feel free to let us know, using our contact page.

Shipping is calculated by weight and added at the order confirmation stage

Shipping times vary but we aim to ship most products within four working days
